Learn issues related with hajj

Having submitted the application for Hajj an intending Haji should familiarise and try to know each and every thing, worldly or abstract, related to the performance of the pilgrimage. For example:

1. Ablution (Wozo). All acts related with it.
2. Call to Prayer (Azan) and call to lineup (Aqamat). Offering of Salat
3. Abbreviated version of Prayer (Salat)
4. Ladies must know the etiquette of entering the mosque.
5. Ladies must know all steps of offering prayer in the Holy Mosques behind a prayer leader, in congregation, and especially about Friday noon prayer.
6. Funeral prayer and invocations (Dua) related with it.
7. Recitation of the Holy Quran with corrects pronunciation and phonetics.
8. All pilgrims must learn some portion of the Holy Quran , specially the last 20 verses (Surah) from the 30th chapter of Qur’an.
9. They should remember by heart different invocations appropriate for different occasions as proved by Hadiths regarding Hajj.
10. They should know Talbiyah (the formula prayer) besides the four “Kalamas”.
11. If the intending Haji is a borrower of anything including the money, that should be returned. He should be with minimum possible liabilities. He should also write down his will and deposit it with some trustworthy relative.
12. He should make farewell calls to all his relations and friends and seek their forgiveness.
